English...The duo Squizo Cactus has begun to work in the early 2002. The members have met in an electronic music festival in the city of Porto Alegre, in december 2001, when Zusammenhangslos watched the concert of Iconoclasticos, the industrial-experimental project of Antoine Trauma & Cícero Ramos.Lately when in their homes, Porto Alegre (Zusa) & Santa Maria (Trauma), both guys started to talk through the Internet and to share digital files. In this way they have found their cultural, artistic and musical preferences out and decided to create a project where they could develop them together.So Squizo Cactus was born. The name was chosen because of the members passion for exotic and psychedelic plants.The sonority is basically made of ambiences, beats and multi-colored noises. There is no worry in obeying composition patterns. What it means are the audio forms and textures whose are audible by themselves.They have just released the AVOIDUS EP and are working on the Dada Invisible Museum album release which is supposed to be out in the end of 2004.Português...A dupla Squizo Cactus começou a trabalhar no início do ano 2002. Os membros se conheceram num festival de música eletrônica na cidade de Porto Alegre, em dezembro de 2001, quando Zusammenhangslos assistiu ao concerto dos Iconoclasticos, projeto industrial-experimental de Antoine Trauma e Cícero Ramos.Mais tarde em suas cidades, Porto Alegre (Zusa) e Santa Maria (Trauma), ambos passaram a se corresponder pela Internet e compartilhar arquivos digitais. Foi assim que descobriram suas afinidades culturais, artísticas e musicais e decidiram criar um projeto onde pudessem desenvolvê-las em conjunto.Nasceu então Squizo Cactus, um nome imaginado pelos dois devido à sua comum paixão por plantas exóticas e psicodélicas.A sonoridade é basicamente feita de ambiências, batidas e ruídos multicoloridos. Não há preocupação em obedecer padrões de composição; o que interessa são as formas e texturas em si.Após lançarem em 2004 seu debut, o EP "AVOIDUS", pela n0-age, lançam agora dois LPs simultaneamente: "Dada Invisible Museum" e "Cactus_Effect", inaugurando o novo selo-cooperativa Antena.
