I learn something about myself everyday. 5/13 --Today I learned that I'm a dork...and I'm proud of it, BIG BA-BY! People have been kind enough to say that i'm kind :), thoughtful, playful, lil ditzy, smaaaht, creative, bee-yotchy, silly, fun..(THANK YOU). Some people take my kindness for weakness or "oddness"...but it's the way I was raised and something I will always keep. I smile at people on the street...will compliment someone just because...I start conversations with the folks I don't know. It's just me. Then there's a group of mo-fos that don't like me and have something bad to say. It's all good. Whatever it is hopefully we can grow and move past it.
I pride myself on being from the South. A huge part of who I am, now, is due because of my life living in Louisiana. I use to go crabbin', walked, what felt like 10 miles,, to the store just for a link of boudin, enjoyed walking around barefoot..everywhere I possibly could, went to Trail Rides, listened to and Zydeco-ed, and cried every holiday for some cornbread dressing!
I absolutely love all music. No joke. I can't really say that I have a favorite singer- although Janet does it for me on alot of other levels. Love to dance, sing out loud really badly. I just bought a guitar- I'm teaching myself (please help!). I've always wanted to learn how to play, so hopefully this time next year I'll be able to play a song or two.
I'm learning to slow down and not try to grow up so quickly. I just turned 26. I've been working since I was 16, moved away at 18, moved across the country at 23. Not alot of time to "just be". Make sense?
