I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

We're an international charity who have been working for over fifty years in the developing world. We have two main focuses: restoring sight to people who would otherwise be visually impaired and helping those who are irreversibly blind to improve their circumstances. All of this includes a variety of activities that we carry out with our close partners, from carrying out cataract operations to providing rehabilitation training.
It's easy to take your sight for granted, but in the poorest countries in the world it's far more common to be blind - nine out of ten people who are blind live in the developing world. And 75% of this global blindness can be easily prevented or cured.
You can find out more about what we do on our website http://www.sightsavers.org
