People who are good conversation, friends with similar interests, or other couples to hang out with in the Orlando area. All you fellow dorks, nerds, dweebs, geeks, weenies, spods, propeller heads, terminal junkies, freaks, or just plain freakishly intelligent people: Speak up or forever more hold your peace!
Sorry boys, I'm married to this guy ! :)
Music:
I like just about anything that isn't country, rap, R&B, or angry death metal. In particular, I am a big fan of most 80s music, easy rock, alternative and indie, some classical, some techno, and jazz. Musically, I'll try just about anything once.
Movies:
Favorite Old Movie(s): Arsenic and Old Lace
Favorite Current Movie(s): Shrek, Office Space, The Wedding Singer
Favorite Independent Film: Pi
Television:
Futurama (MY FAVORITE!!!), The Simpsons, Sex and the City, The 4400, Nip/Tuck, X-Files, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, Heroes, Iron Chef: America, Rescue Me, and because I really am a dork, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, and Star Trek: TNG. Bear in mind that I really don't watch all that much TV, but when I come knocking on Tivo's door, this is usually what he has for me. :)
Books:
As far as fiction goes, I like anything by the following authors: Ayn Rand, Edgar Allen Poe, Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Penn Warren, F. Scott Fitzgerald. Most of the stuff I read these days is educational reading related to the topics in my "Interests" section. Sometimes, I even buy cook books for the pretty pictures. =P
Heroes:
Possibly Albert Einstein.
