Anyone who has the strength to be themselves, that can speak their minds and stand their ground... Dane Cook!
To me music is LIFE! There is a song for every mood, every experience, and all life altering times. I am a true country fan, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, etc. Yet I love all kinds of music, there is nothing better than turing on the radio after a long day and hearing the song that fits you at that exact moment. Anyways, I love it all! (That was my orignal point...)
I love funny movies...I am all about the laughin!! I am into all movies really I guess you could call me a "movie buff" But first choice, Definitely COMEDIES!!
I don't watch to much TV I am to busy making life worth living!
Philosophy, Psychology, Dream books, etc. Anything along those lines. I am fascinated with the brain, can’t get enough!! I am also a huge Phil Jackson fan!!! Yes, yes he writes too! Not only that but they are amazing books… It is about basketball, but he also talks a lot about Zen, and life in general. Check it out!My favorite author is Hugh Prather though, I would recommend any one of his books, he speaks of life and what is a better subject? The books that originally hooked me was Notes to Myself. This book cannot be classified as fiction/non fiction/self help, etc. It is a jotting down of thoughts by Hugh M Prather in a diary format. He doesn't try to preach, doesn't sya "do this and your life will change forever" and things like that. This is a private book, where the author bares his thoughts and analyses them. It is the universality of thoughts and emotions that makes this book a must read. It is written in short paragraphs, and in no particular order. You can pick any page and read. His thoughts range from the mundane- "If you stand in from the the refriderator and wonder if you are hungry, you are not" to profound "I can be consistent or O can have self. I can't have both". Personally this book makes me think "This is exactly how I felt but wasn't able to express". I honestly believe this book is best read in bits and pieces, it is amazing how sometimes you can pick it up and the page you flip it to is exactly what you wanted to hear! Sometimes it does relate to a single thing in your mind, but makes you sigh anyways! A good term or catagort for this book would be "The Almanac for a confused soul". Once again anyone of his boths come highly recommended from me, but this one book started my journey!! Hopefully some sort of guidance for others!
