About Me

I hate when my socks are crooked. I have less than respectable spelling and grammar skills. I am a fan of Killian's Irish Red and worn out tshirts. I am terrified of rush hour traffic. I want a vocabulary that rivals that of Colin Meloy. I like looking at old pictures of people I've never met; imagining their strengths, fears, and the ways they've loved. I am cautious and cynical. The majority of my spare time is filled with drinking coffee/tea, watching movies, and daydreaming. I like staring off into space, singing in the car, swinging at the playground, and sleeping next to someone. I find dilpidated houses and cobble streets beautiful. I can be brutally honest; I might come across as rude at times, but that is never my intention. I love to be around people who make me laugh. I am convinced that the people in my life are some of the most amazing that have graced this green Earth. I have a tendency to sleepwalk. I get nervous far too easily. I wish I could fly and play the piano. I am working my way through a degree in English. I'd like to find a career in the publishing world; I've fallen in love with the written word and want to spend my time distributing those words to the greater public. Thats it. My Interests

Reading, laughing until it hurts, being graceful, lying on my floor listening to records, language, taking pictures of random things, feeling fuzzy from too much wine, knitting, alliteration, catching fireflies, crossword puzzles, frisbee, repetition, discussing open-ended questions, stained glass windows, old National Geographic pictures, and boardgames.

I'd like to meet:

Street lights shine through the shades.

I feel like I've lost touch with a lot of people/things in general.  In all honesty... Moving to Grand Rapids has not been as great as I expected it to be.  In the last few weeks I...

I ain't scared of no ghost.

This caddy's hydroplaining.
