About Me

New format here...Those that have known me for awhile will notice the complete renovation of my myspace page. This is due to a series of large changes in my life and I needed to update this thing to reflect that. If you want current, detailed information you can read my blog. That is where I will post the good stuff.Other than that, I'm in school again. Just left the Marine Corps. I will be finishing my undergrad in engineering (have a little over two years to go). I enjoy spending my free time playing the piano with my jazz quartet or by myself. I love to cook, read, learn, get outside, and have great conversation. I'm also attempting to learn golf. We'll see :)

My Interests

Music, piano, learning, reading, cooking, running, trying to hit a golf ball, not smoking, wine, whiskey, health, challenges.

I'd like to meet:

The way I see it you have two choices in life. To be safe. To follow your desires.I am looking for people who aren't afraid of risking their comfort for their passion. People who believe that the only time we have is the time that we are alive. If you have that attitude you realize that life is short and you shouldn't waste your time on meaningless crap. If you are dedicated, honest, and persistent you can achieve anything.

Music:

Everything that is good.....

Movies:

25th Hour, United States of Leland, Requiem for a Dream, Donnie Darko, The Life of David Gale, 28 Days Later, Matrix, Imposter, Wicker Park, Traffic, The Motorcycle Diaries, Bruce Almighty, The Godfather Movies, Goodfellas, Amadeus, The Wedding Singer, Saw, Better Living Through Circuitry, American Massive, Groove, Say Anything, Grosse Point Blank, American History X, Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, Y Tu Mama Tambien, Vanilla Sky.

Television:

Don't watch TV. It pollutes the mind. Except for Ninja Warrior, Scrubs, and the new American Gladiators.

Books:

The Elegant Universe (will blow your mind), Atlas Shrugged, The Secret Life of Bees, The Prophet, Letters to a Young Poet, Mists of Avalon, A Tour of the Calculus, Falling Angels, The Da Vinci Code (was fun), The Dark Tower Series, A Pale Blue Dot, Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors.

Heroes:

At the moment, Carl Sagan.
