It all started when i was about 12 years old, when i started messing around on an old battery opperated Yamah keyboard from Argos!(serious) Just getting comfortable with the keys and learning basic chords etc.
I was fortunate enough to have access to D.R.P. (damm right productions) studios, where i would go during school holidays and just explore, learn and perfect my production skills. I invested in a midi keyboard, alongside my computer and there i had my very own, basic pre-production studio in my bedroom. At around the same time i started buying Garage records from places like Roman Discs and Rhythm Division in East London. I had a good few hundred vinyls before i even owned a proper turntable! When i was 15 i invested in a pair of 1210's. As my taste in music's become more and more diverse over the years, it has helped me progress and develop my own style, not only as a dj but as a producer aswell. Anyway, i've said enough for now, coz if i carry on, i'll be here all year!!You can check me out on Deja Vu 92.4fm, London (formely 92.3fm) or www.vulive.co.uk, with the Vital Soundz Show, every Monday 4-6pm(GMT) playing various styles of "Vital" music, predominately House music, ranging from laid back deep grooves, to uplifting and Soulful sounds, to those up-tempo, bumpy Jackin' House beats(some may just even call it garage!!) with the odd classic thrown in.Whatch this space!!!....................................................
