About Me

Hailing from the small town of Wilmington, IL, Go, Dog. Go! is anything but like that of their home. Over the years we have truly evolved from a small garage band experimenting with sound, to a musically inclined group with a unique playing style. Our genre ranges in the alternative category from punk rock to pop and powerpop. Our power-driven songs revolve around everyday life and relationships and these ideas are sewn poetically into heartfelt lyrics.
Shows are largely based on audience interaction and energy. If youâ€™re having fun, weâ€™re having fun. We like to spice shows up by having dance contests with wacky prizes, 25-cent toy giveaways, unique cover song choices, and themed shows. If youâ€™re planning on attending a Go, Dog. Go! show, plan on having a good time.
We have recently finished recording our first EP with Dennis Raby of Sonic Portrait Records. The record will be on sale very shortly after the tracks go through one final mixing tweak. Go, Dog. Go! is currently in the writing process, getting some new material prepared for a future full-length. Weâ€™ve been extremely busy lately, but itâ€™s been worth it. Make sure to stay tuned for our first EP release date and also upcoming shows! Go, Dog. Go!!
