Born in Brittany(Dinan), Yann Benoist lives in Paris since mid 76 . At 8 his parents enrolled him to the music academy . Then he got his first guitar when he was 11 . At 18 he was singing and playing with a lot of local bands in Britany and Normandy . He studied with Pierre Cullaz( famous sessionman in Paris ) during year 75 and got a certificate from Berklee School of music the year after . He has been present on the Paris musical scene for many years . His versalitty gave him all along these years the opportunity to work on stage as well as in studio with a lot of famous and successful French Artists : Gilbert Bécaud ,Serge Lama,Renaud,Francis Cabrel,JL Lahaye,Mireille
