Politics is my biggest interest. I love the way politics is integrated into every aspect of our lives, but if you ask most people, they hate politics. I also like reading and just hanging out with friends.
There are many people that I'd like to meet. I would like to meet my ancestors from Africa, Nelson Mandela, , Martin Luther King Jr., Barack Obama, and Ghandi, and most importantly I would like to meet Christina A. Lopez!!! (Even though I have the strangest feeling that we've met somewhere before)
I love Hip-Hop 'till I die, but I do like to listen to other types of music such as Jazz, Classical, and Alternative... width="425" height="350" ..
My favorite movie of all time is "The Color Purple". This movie is about one woman's struggle to over-come an oppressive husband and the oppressive society of the South to reunite the her childhood bestfriend. I've watched this movie over 20 times. My second favorite movie is the "Shawshank Redemption" which is a movie about hope. Other movies that I like are: Roots, Last of the Mojicans, As Good as it Gets, and Wild Wild West.
I don't watch as much T.V as I used to. I'm always on the run all over the city. Now all I watch is C-Span and the Daily Show. Yes I know I'm a political junkie, but if your reading my profile, you either love me....or understand me... width="425" height="350" ..
I love all books that discuss progressive politics and political strategies. But my all time favorite book is "Green Eggs and Ham" by Dr. Suess.

My mom is my greatest hero. All of her sacrifice and hard work really inspires me in effort to reach my goals. My other heroes are Martin Luther King Jr. and Ghandi for there non-violent approach for social change. Also, my heroes are those that take risk, make mistakes and try different things.
