I play most types of Psychedelic Trance. No other music is capable of taking me to such high levels. PsyTrance has such a distinct style, yet it can be happy/uplifting/euphoric/entrancing/chilled out/relaxing/banging/exciting/weird/intelligent/futuristic/v ision enducing/thought provoking/dark/apocolyptic/mechanical/tripped out/silly/organic/heavy/tribal... i could go on forever. :P
Why Psychedelic Trance is so good
Im an Electronic Artist.
i used to produce experimental electronica with Reason, and Fruity Loops although im now focusing on Psytrance and using Ableton Live.
Im a Event Promoter/Party Organiser.
I organise nights with my brother Thom aka Guano Unsane under the name of Psychometric Vision in and around Liverpool. Our main project is Soma Sonic; a semi regular psytrance event, where we aim to go beyond a regular party and really involve our members in every way possible with the focus on interactive art forms of every kind. Expanding our collective conciousness! I also show my love for other styles of electronic music at 1 off mega special events called AREA D-3e where u can expect to hear almost any style of upbeat/hard, non mainstream electronic music.
Other parties we as Psychometric Vision host are "Mellout" parties. With the focus being on all types of chilled out Psychedelic Music. We advertise less (just to our Members) so as to keep it intimate, chilled out and an extremely comfortable and safe environment for mind expansion.
