About Me

I am a happily married mom with two beautiful grown children. We are also proud grandparents of a baby girl, Chloe, who was born March 26.I have been an elementary teacher for 35 years and still at it. I guess you could say I enjoy what I am doing. My My Space gives me an opportunity to keep in touch with my former students, my friends, and my children's friends. It is a great communication asset. I am a beach person and love to cruise the Caribbean as well. (Gotta love those azure waters and tropical drinks!!)I completed my masters through the University of Phoenix and found the classes to be the most rewarding and informative of any I have ever been involved with. It was such an experience to share educational issues with students across the country and even throughout the world.

Myspace Friendship Sayings CommentsLoss of Anne ShumanThe loss of one such friend has made me realize just how short life can be. Monday I lost a special friend and an awesome teacher, Anne Shuman. I know that the heavens will be as graced with her presence as we were on earth when she was alive. She impacted the lives of so many and our lives were all sunnier for knowing Anne. She will forever be in my heart. I miss her.
