About Me

Mikael Carlzon's interest in music started back in 2001, when he discovered the female singer Bonnie Tyler. In the same year he discovered his own voice when he began to sing her songs and the dream of being a producing artist grew bigger and bigger.
With a lot of encourage from miss Tyler, he set his aim at a musical career and together with his friend and guitarist, Mikael decided to do a tribute concert to Bonnie Tyler in his home town Varberg in Sweden. He got a gig at the town library and on the 8th of December 2006, Mikael gave his very first concert where he sang songs of his friend and idol.
Mikael are today touring with his guitarist giving acoustic cover concerts, and are currently writing and recording his own material together with the swedish singer/songwriter Yozephine. One of the songs, "Ditt Sätt Att Förundra", can be heard here on MySpace.
Many of Mikael's new songs are currently produced to be sent in to Melodifestivalen (the Swedish final before Eurovision Song Contest), and won't be released in public until later this year.

Influences: As you can read in my biography, Bonnie Tyler has been - and are - my biggest influence. I just love her voice and her way of performing.

Other influences for me are Dolly Parton (US), Jill Johnson (SE), Sanne Salomonsen (DK), CajsaStina Akerstrom (SE), Jim Jidhed (SE), Bryan Adams (US), Doro Pesch (DE) and many, many more...

I listen to almost every genre when it comes to music and my influences are very different from eachother and are changed now and then... Wanna be my new influence?
