About Me

We are The Confidantes. Who the fuck are you?

Its the summer of 2007 now and The Confidantes are just back from T In The Park and after seeing so many bands from our area playing on the T break stage, i think its fair to say we are all pretty eager to be aiming for a similiar place next year. 2007 has been a pretty busy year altogether for us. We have recorded a brand new demo of 6 songs and are currently working on improving our older songs and writing brand new ones. We are hoping to be getting quite a few gigs over the summer and afterwards as well. The confidantes fans also deserve a massive shout out for their stupidly frequent attendance to every one of those little monday and wednesday night gigs down at the tunnels, which are all really appreciated. All the bankhead girls, Sara and her crew, Patrick and peter and Big Lou have all been great. Muchos Grassy arse to you all!!!!
2007 so far has been great for gigs and support slots. So far we have played along side such bands as:
Damn Arms, Ratattagg, The Maccabees, Air Traffic, The Law, Forever Like Red, Ghosts and The Ripps..
.. Oh, and Sara Keene is The Confidantes numero uno fan, no questions asked. The beads are hers, and she even did the myspace. T-shirt still pending.
