Frank Cachia and Edwin Balzan formed Duo Blank project with the aim of delivering techno, electro and drum n' bass projects in mid 1998 soon after having completed 3 tracks in collaboration with dj Owen Jay.
One of these tracks - Soyuz 1.01 - was later on released by Owen Jay as part of 'Hydraulic Blast ep' on the label sok (sok14).
Duo Blank released their first album 'Hectic Electric' on Noise Alliance in 1999 and embarked themselves on a series of live pa's alongside the world's best electro and techno dj's.

In 2003, Duo Blank crowned a year busy with live-pa's by releasing the album Transmission, Live at Nova.
Duo Blank released their first vinyl ep named Genetica EP on Invasion Records as a collaboration with dj's Marco Bailey and Redhead and later on in 2002 released their first international remix to the track Ritmo Total by dj Toni Rios on the label Danza Electronica.
Ever since 2003 the duo have released a string of releases on their label Noise Alliance concentrating now on productions which truly reflect their love of electronic music. Check out noisealliance.com for more information on their current releases.
