I’m bassist/guitarist, more bass than guitar recently, with about 20 years experience. I just recently moved from the Baltimore/D.C. area to the Twin Cities. I’m currently playing with several bands in the Twin Cities. I’ve played all styles from jazz to rock to country. I’m willing to play any style of music in a project with fun professional people. I have tons of pro gear and the needed strong work ethic and flexibility to help take your project to the next level. I just recently bought my first upright bass and look forward to future opportunities with it.
My early influences were Metallica, Testament, Slayer, Tesla, Motley Crue, Whitesnake and other heavy rock groups of that era. I later discovered jazz while attending Musician’s Technical Institute of Minneapolis (now McNally/Smith School of Music). I completed the one-year Guitar Performance program and graduated as the “Top Overall Guitaristâ€. I also received a scholarship to attend the Advanced Guitar Performance program the following year. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayland Baptist University and a MBA from Webster University.
I’ve had the privilege of studying with some of the greatest musicians in the world including Robben Ford, Sid Jacobs, Emanuel Kiriakou, Anthony Wellington, John DellaSelva and Adi Yeshaya.
