E.. stato registrato e mixato nel Barbastudio (il mio nuovo project studio) con la collaborazione di diversi amici musicisti: la splendida voce di Morgana, le creative percussioni di Alberto Biondi, il preciso basso di Nicola Di Camillo, il feeling blues di Marco Pellegrini e la sua armonica, il lirico sax soprano di Marco Salvatore.

Thanks everybody!Info mp3 etc www.stefanobarbati.comStefano Barbati was born in Lanciano (Chieti-Abruzzo-Italy) in 1973. At the age of 10 he began studying the classical guitar, but, after 3 years, he changed to blues and rock music.
After listening to Pino Daniele's music, he developed an interest in acoustic guitar and he concentrated on the fingerstyle technique.
Today his performance is based on acoustic guitar solo. His technique is inspired by great acoustic guitar masters like Michael Hedges, Tuck Andress and the Italian guitarist Franco Morone. He sums up in consistent and personal way the variety of musical forms that influence his style.
From rock-blues to Mediterranean atmospheres, from Italian songwriters to modern acoustic guitar masters, Stefano Barbati's performance includes covers as well as original music, both showing a stylistical maturity aiming at a marked propension on melodic research.
In 2003 he recorded a videotape "Suonare nello stile di Eric Clapton" (Playgame music), where he showed the famous English guitarist's performance techniques in a very simple and effective way.
In May 2003 the label "fingerpicking.net" published his first official CD "Il canto del mare", consisting of 11 pieces which show an expressive maturity and a strong bent for melody. In this project he collaborated with other musicians.
His name is included between the 36 guitarists protagonists of double CD "36 - The fingerpicking.net sampler" with well-known names of Italian acoustic guitars players like Franco Morone, Beppe Gambetta, Daniele Bazzani.Intro Luna Selvaggia
