MARTIAN MANHUNTER RETURNS - When Clark (Tom Welling) discovers Lionel (John Glover) threatened to kill him unless Lana (Kristin Kreuk) married Lex (Michael Rosenbaum), he goes after Lionel to silence him once and for all. Lana tells Lex she is leaving him, and Martian Manhunter (guest star Phil Morris) makes a return appearance to help Clark stop Lex, who is trying to find the last wraith from the Phantom Zone in order to use its DNA to power his army of super soldiers. Meanwhile, Lois (Erica Durance) goes to Reeves Dam in search of information about Lex's secret lab and is brutally stabbed by a security guard. Chloe's (Allison Mack) secret power is revealed.

Smallville Officially Renewed For Season 7!!
The CW has officially announced that they have ordered another, 22-episode season of Smallville. The Fall 2007 schedule will be announced on Thursday.

With this announcement, Smallville is now the longest-running series still remaining from The WB!

Firefighters and police in areas near Smallville filming were warned of an explosion that would transpire on Wednesday afternoon. People were told, in reports in newspapers and on the radio, that the "the explosion in a private lot is not real," and that it would be "a simultated special effect that could potentially be heard within a ten-block radius." Emergency crews were notified of the plans of the Smallville production in advance.

The explosion is occurring in the Smallville season finale, which is currently filming. What kind of boom could there be? Guess we'll have to wait and watch...

6x22 - Phantom

This might be the final episode as a regular cast member for at least one person
- An explosion was filmed on Wednesday April 11th. Chances are good that the explosion may involve Lana in some way.
- As with any Smallville finale, expect almost every major character to be in peril at the season's end. Unless, of course, their story has already seen its end within the episode itself.
- Bizarro-Clark has a similar color scheme to Clark, except with a red shirt and a blue jacket.
- The ultimate survival of Lois may depend on Chloe's power.
- A lot of long-awaited confrontations may finally happen here.
- Aaron Ashmore does not appear in this episode, as he departs in "Noir."
- New from The CW: "Lana (Kristin Kreuk) tell Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) their marriage is over, and Clark (Tom Welling) goes after Lionel (John Glover) when he discovers the real reason Lana agreed to marry Lex."

TV Guide's Mike Ausiello reveals that the Martian Manhunter will be returning in this episode.
- And some new spoilers from S.A.M.: Clark fights Bizarro-Clark!! And, it seems that Lois gets stabbed in the gut. Ouch.

- Smallville writer Steve DeKnight has revealed on his blog that the Green Arrow will not be making an appearance in the finale. "Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Justin will be available to reprise his role as Green Arrow [in the finale]. I believe he has a gig on a CW pilot," he said.
- Without the Green Arrow, will we see any other Justice Leaguers? Guess we'll have to wait and see...
- DeKnight also reveals: "Chloe definitely has an ability, and you'll see what it is in the season finale."

Question: Do you have any good stuff on Chloe this week? Like her actual “power” with this meteor-freak story line?— Olivia
Answer: I can't be certain, but I think her special power only gets activated when she blacks out.

According to the videopost from Mike Ausiello's column there is a BIG twist that revolves around the bun thing in Lana's oven. He was very vague and didn't tell us much. Watch the video and let me know what you think.

Look for some long awaited conformation between Chloe and Lex in episode Progeny. (6x18)

Kristin Veitch at E! Online claims that there will be a death of one of the show's four major characters (Clark, Lana, Lex, or Chloe) in the finale.
