The Sage Experience

About Me

How I made my profile:
I used MyWackoSpace.com 's amazing MySpace Editor .If there was one word to describe the unrelenting talent of SAGE, it would be devotion. So much passion and emotion goes into every verse as if he is a poet expressing his pains and struggles in lines across a page. He's not a Hip Hop artist he is a musician with the one goal of making the world aware of his lyrical craft. Music is not a pay check to SAGE, it is an emotional art form. SAGE believes highly in understanding the science of music, for it is a relationship between the musician and the beat. His commitment in personal development and growth helps him to continuously evolve his sound. SAGE considers himself not as a rapper but as a musician due to his bond with the rhythm of hip hop. The rhythm is his therapy, the main motivation in his life allowing him to invoke the desired rock star persona for his performances and still maintain his humble qualities similar of the great jazz legends. SAGE's ultimate goal is to be one of the greatest musicians of all time! Staying true to his heart he focused on developing his is own unique sound. Once joining the Unites States Marine Corps he was able to develop his stage presence by tapping into the fundamentals of discipline. During the four years he honorably served, he became part of a hip hop group by the name of UDT, Universal Deadly Threats. Managed by DJ Cee Money, who is currently working with Serious Grind Entertainment, they released their album “Triple Threat” and have performed at over 44 showcases in Japan. Opening up for Mr. Cheeks, performing at various venues, military bases, brings forth the experience necessary to command a large crowd. With this upcoming album you can be sure he will keep your enthusiasm with diverse elements attributed to listening to his numerous influences ranging from the late James Brown, Marvin Gaye, and Bob Marly to Diane Ross, Smokey Robinson, and Tracy Chapman. He implement elements from the Disco music to combine it with his current hip hop muses Dr. Dre and Outkast. Not stopping at joining just classic rhythm & blues with contemporary hip hop, we can hear the messages behind the music much like his favorite artist Linkin Park, Cold Play, Kayne West, and Fugees. A considerable amount of his business wits is accredited to Russell Simmon's perspective on personal routines coinciding with business practices. Intense emotions overcomes SAGE when discussing what he stands for as a man and as an artist. Speaking to the world and bring cultures together to make a difference with music. Originality is the key to his success. With the ingredients of his intellect, confidence, and influential presence his infectious creativity inspires everyone he meets. As a child a clear vision was embedded in his mind of walking off stage with a Grammy in hand. To this day, when he looks towards his future path of what is to come and what is destined to change, he has an optimistic perspective on what the value of life is to SAGE.
