It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not

About Me

First and foremost I would like to extend a piercing SKEEEEEEEEE-WEEEEEEE! to all of the lovely ladies of ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORITY, INCORPORATED as well as to the Ice Cold Brothers of ALPHA PHI ALPHA FRATERNITY, INCORPORATED. I am a proud member of ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORITY, INCORPORATED. I come from a long line of proud AKA Women and the one thing that you will notice about me if you get the chance to ever meet me is that I represent my organization with pride and dignity. So, if you want to get to know me don't start off by making assumptions about what you think you know about me because I wear salmon pink and apple green. This is only one dimension of myself. I am an only child. Does this mean that I am spoiled? Well, yes I am spoiled but I can say that I have earned everything that I get and I am very appreciative of all the nice things that my parents give me. They work really hard to give me the things that they did not have and to make my life easier. I am not going to apologize because I had an easy life. By day, I do what I have to do to make my paper, don't worry everything that I do is legal for the most part LOL. By night, I take graduate classes in the School of Library and Information Science. I am on the Archives and Records Management track. It is my goal to be a certified archivist (If you do not know what this is then look it up, knowledge is power :)). There aren't that many black archivists, let alone black female archivists so I am kind of entering into unchartered waters, but that is what makes it even more exciting. After I recieve my degree I plan to get certified as an archivist and then work at the National Archives and Records Administration if God is willing. This is where all the action happens. Yeah, I know stop laughing. This is the NBA for archivists. What then can you say, the grand finale-The Phd. It is my dream to study for a Phd in African-American/American history, Cultural Anthropology, or Public Administration. I need that Phd so that I can move up the career ladder and become a head of a major archival institution. A sister is trying to run stuff. Be a leader not a follower, that is what my parents always told me. So I know you are saying what does she do in her spare time? Well, you will find that out if you message me. I have to leave something for us to talk about. I can't make it too easy for you. Just remember, I work hard but I play even harder!Have a Skeerific Day! ?? Which Of The Greek Gods Are You ??

I'd like to meet:

Woodson, Colin Powell, Bill Clinton, Frederick Douglass, Alexander the Great, Martin Luther King, Jr., James Edward Shepard (Founder of NCCU), The 20 Pearls, Marcus Garvey, Adam Clayton Powell, Pope John Paul II, Tupac Shakur, Langston Hughes, Olaudah Equiano (black British abolitionist), W.E.B. These are just a few people I would like to meet. Many of these people are dead, so I guess I will just have to wait until the afterlife. Everyone of these people that I have named has directly of indirectly impacted the history of the United States of America in some way and is remembered in history for their monumental achievements. As far as people on Myspace are concerned, I would like to meet people who are real about who they are and what they want out of life. There are too many people who are floating around aimlessly or just trying to get over. I do not need nor do I want to be associated with people like that. On the category of dating, I would like to meet individuals who do not play games. My time is valuable and I do not like to waist it. So with that said, if you think I am a person you would like to get to know then send me an email, I will be prompt in my response. I may even make you laugh a little. If I am not a person that you really want to get to know and you are just looking for "you know what", or you want me to listen to your music, or you want me to come to your club, or you just want me to be another number on your" friends" list, you need to K.I.M (KEEP IT MOVING), because that is not what I am about. href="http://www.obamatags.com/" Glitter graphics & Comments from www.ObamaTags.com
