Captain Jack Harkness

Jack Harkness, also known as Captain Jack, leader of Team Torchwood.
A charming rogue, so they tell me, and I'll flirt with almost everyone I meet! I'm militarily trained and I usually get what I want; hell, they don't call me charming for nothing, you know, although sometimes I have to use force!
An omnisexual former Time Agent from the 51st century, I left the organisation after discovering that two years of my memory had been removed. I've had the pleasure of many adventures through time and space, both on my own and with the Doctor and Rose, whom I first met in 1941 during the London Blitz where I was posing as an American volunteer in the Royal Air Force. I'm capable of both using and constructing a variety of weaponry and I'm familiar with a great deal of advanced technology. I worked well with the Doctor and Rose, and I followed the Doctor's orders easily and willingly making me an integral part of the TARDIS crew.
I'm currently living in Cardiff, working for Torchwood at The Hub where I'm in charge of a great, albeit small, team of criminal investigators. Aside from investigating human and alien crime, we are charged by the British government to covertly investigate alien technology without the knowledge of the United Nations and UNIT.
