plain layout powered by HOT FreeLayouts.com / MyHotCommentsMartin Osbourne Johnson CBE was born in Solihull West Midlands, UK in 1970.In 1989 he joined Leicester Tigers and went on to lead the team to four successive premiership titles between 1999-2002 plus winning two European Cups in both 2001-2002. Up until his retirement in 2005, he was the clubs longest ever serving captain. Martin Johnson made his debut for his native England in 1993 and captained the team for the first time in 1998. He also became the only player to ever captain two British & Irish Lions tours, one successful tour to South Africa in 1997 and the other to Australia in 2001. He Later went on to win the Six Nations Grand Slam in 2003 - before lifting the Webb Ellis Cup that following November, beating Australia. Martin Johnson is indeed a unique and inspirational sportsman who is highly respected by fellow sports people and fans.
