Barba Moreno

BARBA MORENO formed as a studio project in 2003. We're a loose collective of multi-instrumentalists based in the East Anglian region, playing a form of music we call "ANGLOCANA", a mix of quaint English folk and American alternative country. Tracks from our first album, "Tom Wolfe's Bride", which differ significantly from our later work, can be found via the link in our Top Friends. We're currently working on our fifth album, "A Death In The Family". The first completed track from these recent sessions, "Everything and More" featuring the talented Norwich based musician Nick Worrall on backing vocals, is included here on MySpace. Philip Howling also records under the moniker of "THE DRAG STRIP OFFICIALS" (which can also be found in our top friends) whilst Ian Hawkins can be seen live playing drums with covers band, "GREEN JAM".
