I love Music, Scrapbooking (a friend describes me as a Scrapbook-aholic), Making Greeting Cards (I love to Stamp and be creative), Reading (could get lost in a book anytime-loved my British Literature and American Literature classes in College!), Photography (photo-snappin' junkie), Nature (God made it awesome!), Fishing (So many fish, too little time-I really miss going Pike fishing with my dad on Lake Huron in Les Cheneaux Islands, which we have gone since I was 3yrs old), Knitting and Beading (stress relievers), Movies, Concerts (been to so many...Longest was in high school, Monsters of Rock at the Silverdome with nine beautiful hours of concert time! (Kingdom Come, Dokken, Scorpions, Metallica, Van Halen, brief appearance by The Nuge) I also love Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, IL-over 12 stages and over 120 bands..need I say more), Friends (very important to me! People that inspire me and have like interests.I am really happy to get back in touch with old friends from high school, college, from my days in radio broadcasting and of course some new friends too. I have actually found friends from grade school at on MySpace! I think that is awesome! Friends are important to me, so make sure you keep in touch! Be sure to drop me a message or a post once and awhile. This is fun! Why didn't I myspace before? If you are looking for the Pacman game I had posted on here....well, it had some glitches so I removed it. Sorry.
Rock (This is still my favorite genre), Alternative, 80-90's Rock (Queensryche, Bon Jovi, Dokken, Van Halen, Winger, Def Leppard, Extreme, Mr. Big, Warrant, Firehouse, Trixter, Steelheart, Damn Yankees,Blue Murder, Jason Bonham, etc.."House of Hair"). I also like Sanctus Real, Evanescence, Plumb, P.O.D., Christian Rock, Yngwie J. Malmsteen (was an awesome guitarist while he was still current I liked the short stint when Joey Lynn Turner sang for him,), Rachmoninoff-Pagannini (Who doesn't love "Somewhere in Time") and I always loved Chris Cornell's voice (With Sound Garden now Audioslave)..., and the Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots sound, Dream Theater, Metallica, Enigma,...Obviously I have a wide range of musical interests. There are so many I could name....there are SO many in my CD library. I would be listing forever. (Obviously, look at my ballads blogs.)I love music and my former job as a radio announcer only fed that love. When I wasn't newcasting, or interviewing great bands, I got to listen to all of the awesome music and meet lots of great people!!!! I am posting some great songs on video for you to enjoy. The Crow (the soundtrack was awesome too), Rock Star, Loved all the 80-90 movies, like Pretty in Pink, St. Elmos Fire, Sixteen Candles, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Lost Boys (Jason Patric, whew!) etc. Grease, Xanadu and Somewhere in Time, were my all time favs., More current: The Harry Potter movies, Lord of the Ring series, Pirates of the Carribean movies, Narnia: the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Hallmark Movies, Something's Gotta Give, Nanny McFee, In America, The Family Stone and We are Marshall were excellent...but be ready to cry (not just sniffles)...Any Denzel Washington, Johnny Depp, Matthew McConaughey, or Orlando Bloom movie rate high, not just because of the HOT factor, they are usually good :)!
