Ian James WHO is he? How did he get his start? Ian got his first taste of dance music while living in south Texas. At age 16 it was the only thing he would let any one play in the car or any where for that matter. despite being laughed at in high school Ian stuck by his guns and never let any one influence his decision on what to listen to. Struck by the late night sounds of the clubs playing over the radio he became fascinated with the style know as trance and 90s artist such as ATB, 4Strings, Alice Dj, and many others. After High School Ian moved to the windy city. how little did he know that one of the first friendships he would encounter would launch him in to the night club Dj world he so longed to be in. Michael Knall met Ian James late fall 05 where after going to a party Michael decided that he would teach Ian the ways of the turntable. After that the rest is history, he would soon meet Chicago’s legendary Dave Medusa who would help him to launch his music career and become the man as you know him today... IAN JAMES
