DJ XCELâ„¢ [Fusion Radio Chicago Resident]

DJ Xcel has made progress quickly in the industry and future plans are more reachable than ever before. Growing up, He always listened to mixmasters from the Chicago area and was fascinated by their talent. About 5 years ago, Xcel was given an opportunity to assist a local DJ, Bobby Styles. From then on, he knew this was going to be more than a hobby to him. Bobby set up Xcel with some guest spots here and there. Finally, Xcel recieved his first residency at Martini Room in Elgin. From there, Xcel has held residencies at about every bar/club in Elgin and has worked closely with legendary club owner/promoter Dave Medusa and Mission Nightclub. Xcel has held guest spots around the northwestern suburbs and Chicago; including Ruby and Plush in Chicago. He has much in store for the future and bringing smooth blends of house music to Chicago. Besides moving to L.A. for 3 months for an internship, Xcel plans hooking up with the network out there and getting guest spots at L.A.'s hottest night spots.
