Starting out as an underground Los Angeles area emcee with groups "the Angelenos" and "EMPC" in the late nineties, Esq. took the opportunity to hone production skills and start an independant label, "Iconographic Records", shortly after the turn of the new millennium. Hoping to brand a new flavor of HipHop music onto the Los Angeles landscape, this emcee turned producer releases his first solo masterpiece entitled "Too Hip Hop". This self explanatory proclamation is a well devised resurrection of the old school formula, without sacrificing the nuances of the craft that has made Hip Hop music to be seated at the forefront of the definitive culture of society today. ..
