I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

to get down to it, you'd just have to ask. but i'm definitely a Gemini! most of you know that i have two other halves - my lovely sister (see heroes) and my valentine of ~6 years, my Joey Honey. currently i'm most looking forward to getting married late this summer while surrounded by friends and family. i also have one most excellent brother (see heroes) and a great love for those who love the ones close to me. i wouldn't be the same without the family and friends that know me and love me, i'm happy for each day they're in my life. This layout was handmade with love by the folks at My space or yours? Go get one!

My Interests

(in no particular order...) knitting! books of movies before i see the movie. bowling. hanging out with my boy and goofing off whenever i feel like it/manage to get away with it. sitting out in the sun with friends loving life. contagious giggling with my sister and galpals. did I mention knitting? plants. listening to great live music. yoga. traveling to new fun places and checking out new things. disco dancing. thinking about what to wear next halloween and dressing up for parties. finding cool stuff at second hand shops or sporting hand-me-downs. finding new ways to amuse my cat Demon (and Herman).a few of my favorite things:i knew i loved roller coasters at the age of 2. if only sushi could be my vice... i'm salivating just thinking about it. i don't think i could love passion fruit any more. how could i forget knitting!? (summer does that to me.)

I'd like to meet:

everyone (including my cat) in their previous lives! ;)

..

Music:

anything chillable! but espcially:

Movies:

Joey thinks i have bad taste in movies but i prefer to call it eclectic! and thanks to whoever came up with the concept of NetFlix. i've loved Alfred Hitchcock's movies since the 6th grade when we watched "Pyscho" in class. has anyone else seen "Welcome to Woop Woop"? it's the oddest movie i've ever watched.

Television:

the SHIELD! ('nuff said.) and don't even ask about 24, Jack Bauer is my TV hero. What Not to Wear, Best Week Ever, The Jeff Corwin Experience, Pet Psychic - just kidding. Mythbusters, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saved by the Bell, classic Twilight Zone episodes, plus a few random others... used to watch: Animaniacs, Double Dare, Hey Dude, You Can't Do That on Television, Inspector Gadget, Mr. Ed, Bill Nye the Science Guy

Books:

The House of Spirits, Eva Luna, The Andromeda Strain, The Revolt of the Cockroach People, The Odessa Files, Catch-22, Como Agua Para Chocolate, 1984, Animal Farm, Bullet Park, How to Kill a Mockingbird, Twelfth Night, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Steppenwolf, Siddhartha, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, Fast Food Nation, The Motorcycle Diaries, The Life of Pi, Memoirs of a Geisha, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Red Tent, The Handmaid's Tale, Eleven Minutes; John Updike, Jorge Luis Borges, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Roald Dahl, Edgar Allan Poe...
