*Also, we will show crucial dates, such as community council agendas on Sugar House, Sugar House Community Council meetings (every 1st Wednesday of the month, Sprague Lib, 7pm), and community member rallys.
Hey friends! Since this project originated in October of 2006, we've mangaged to rally over 400 friends on Myspace, we've filmed a documentary about this awesome neighborhood and the issues facing it, made firends with nearly all the merchants, City and Community Councils, and a website and tee shirts are on their way. That's quite a bit of progress, considering our budget ($0) and the number of folks who started the project (1 or 2, depending on the day). HOWEVER, all 3 or 4 of us here at SSH are NOT the community. And since this is a "community project," we think that SSH ought to be composed of MEMBERS OF SUGER HOUSE'S COMMUNITY. We can get a lot more achieved for the greatest neighborhood in Salt Lake if our friends start to take an active role in helping out, staying aware, and spreading the word. I guess what we're trying to say is that who we'd really like to meet are folks interested in putting alittle elbow grease into the effort to Save Sugar House.
End of Rant.
