About Me

I'm really just learning how to get around, what it means to live and learn. I'm still young and have plenty of time to figure things out, and I'm realizing that all these past years have not provided me with the wealth of knowledge that I thought it did. I'm naive and not a little bit ignorant, but at least I'm getting to have half-decent taste in music.

My Interests

I am fond of the usual. You know, movies, books, writing, philosophy, beautiful people, and so on. I fence, I read, I write, I play trombone, I have been known to swing dance on occasion. There's plenty of things I'm interested in if only I take the time to do them.

Guster, the Postal Service, Rufus Wainwright, Ben Folds, Nickel Creek (and Chris Thile), Jump Little Children, Keane, Maroon 5, Weezer, Cake, Santana, Carole King, Queen, Dave Matthews, to name a few

Movies:

Ordinary People, The Hours, Waking Life, Spirited Away, Moulin Rouge, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Television:

I don't really watch tv, truthfully, but my guilty pleasures are Battlestar Galactica (the new one) and Lost.

Books:

I love me some books. The Satanic Verses, Salman Rushdie, is my current favorite.
