Arthur "King Arthur" Evans was raised with a talented family background. Growing up in the church he was always looking for the musician's section!! Arthur's Mother Kate was always singing hymns around the house which influenced him that he too want to be a great musician. Everytime his brother(Juan Sr.) would come visit he would beg him to teach Arthur a thing or two on the Keyboard. Juan taught him how to play "By Ear" which Arthur was glad that he learned how to play this way. "I can play anything thanks to this method"!!! Growing older Arthur nearly perfected the method. But there was something missing. "I use to think that there was an actual band playing for the Artist!! When I use to hear names being called out in songs Like "Swizz Beatz", "Timbaland", I use to get confused on how 1 person can play the drums and play the keyboard at the sametime!! So I use to play on the Casio Thinking I was making a beat but it wasn't working!!" At 17 Arthur Asked a rapper who was going to school with him at time named "Mike", " How do I make beats?" Mike responded with "well you have to have an MPC or a Triton!" Now I was really confused!! What is a Triton or MPC?(lol I really didn't know at the time) Meeting in the Cafeteria everymoring was a group who played beats and rapped over them. This one dude in the group introduced my to a program called "Fruityloops" which is an excellent program to start out with. I used this program to make beats for local artist. But I felt limited cus I'm so use to hands on so I decided to purchase a keyboard. My mom thought I was crazy spending $2,600 for a keyboard(Which is the Roland Fantom-s fully loaded)It took me 5 months to get this board because I was working at kfc at the time lol!! I saved every check( Which averaged 240) but I was determined!! I met Tai Slumz at an open mike freestyle which I use to hand the dj tracks so people could rap over them. It was history from there!!! Slumz exposed me to alot in the music game and introduced me to people I always wanted to meet(P-Cutta, G Baker, Justus from 730 Ent, Raheem Devaughn, Dj Xclusive, Kev Brown to name a few) A few months you will know why I am M.D.'s best kept secret!!!
