Cassel’s experience in the gospel industry extends from artist promotions to radio tracking and much more. She is credited to the career of contemporary Gospel Artist James Fortune & FIYA, by working their hit single, “You Survivedâ€, which soared to the #2 spot on Radio and Records’ Top 30 Gospel Chart and the top 10 on Billboard’s Gospel Hot Tracks. This single was also the 7th most played song of 2005 and is still one of the most played Gospel ballads today.
Cassel also fortified the success of the 2006 hit by Elder Jimmy Hicks and the Voices of Integrity, “Born Blessed.†The single peaked at the #2 spot on Radio and Records’ Top 30 Gospel Chart and Billboard’ Gospel Hot Tracks and remained in the top 10 for over 30 weeks. The single is still one of the most played recurrent singles. She has also worked on records for Nu Beginning featuring Damon Little, Keith Wonderboy Johnson, Niyoki, Izzy, and many others.
