Pimis Petrou was born in Athens (25/03/1967). From the age of 8 to 20 he was champion and member of the national team of Greece at fencing. At the age of 20 he decided to leave all that behind for music. Professionally he writes music for TV and radio commercials and does studio work (backing vocals) for Greek artists. In 1995 he produced his first album(Kathreftis-Polygram)undertaking full orchestration, instrument playing, singing and songwriting with lyrics by Eftixia Vlaxonatsou, apart from one song that was written by Kostas Tournas (lyrics-co singing). From then and up until today he is a member of Tournas’ band and collaborates with him at many levels. During the recent years he produces and orchestrates songs for other artists. Also he participates in Sofia Spiratou’s "Xorotheatro Roes" as a singer-musician. In 2004 he wrote and produced his second solo album (Epitelous Gelai-Heaven Music) with lyrics by Aris Davarakis. His latest work includes the film ALTER EGO (Sakis Rouvas) for which he composed and produced all the original songs.
