I am a parent of an autistic child. I have gone through alot over the past years since his official diagnosis and continue to battle the red tape officials create that make it difficult to seek answers for this growing epidemic.Autism is a neurological disorder that affects the development of the brain in areas of social interaction and communication. There are many variations of Autism and not every case is the same, which is why Autism is generally categorized as Autism Spectrum Disorder.
