Cinema, Poetry - I love Christina Rossetti. I'm a very visual person so I love cool photography. Anything by David LaChapelle, Nick Knight or Ellen von Unwerth. Clubbing - Pushca, Redlight, Ultra@Area. Shopping - D&G, Galliano and Portobello/Camden markets. Beauty in anything, Drag.
Someone who I fall in love with who also falls in love with me!!! On second thoughts, Nah!!!
I love lots of different types of music, so probably best to just limit myself to a favourite few.
The Clash, The Doors, Elastica, The Smiths, Madonna, Suede, Zero7, The Undertones, George Michael, Whitney (sometimes), Depeche Mode, James Morrison, Angie Stone, Soul to Soul and if I'm out it's gotta be Funky dirty house or Electro...
OK I go to see a lot of movies. I guess a hitlist of my favourites would be:
Angel-A, Bladerunner, Cabaret, Lord of the Rings (Return of the King), Lord of the Rings (Fellowship of the Ring),
The Matrix, Star Wars (Attack of the Clones), Godfather Pt 1, Easy Rider, Apocalypse Now, Withnail an I, Minority Report, Monty Python's Life of Bryan, Aliens, The Fifth Element, AI, Children of Men, Once Upon a Time in the West, V for vendetta, It's a weird and wonderful list. But those are my faves.
Hmmm. Not much as I have a life. But I watched all of the last season of Heroes and 24 on DVD.
NO ONE HERE GETS OUT ALIVE - Jerry Hopkins and Danny Sugarman.
The most enthralling glimpse into the mind of the twisted genius that was Jim Morrison. I love this book. For all who walk alone and for all who want to snap back at the world this is your bible.
A RIOT OF OUR OWN - Johnny Green & Garry Barker
For anyone who loves The Clash this is a beautiful inside look at what really went on behind the scenes.
THE COMPLETE WORKS OF SHAKESPEAR
This should be compulsory
HIGH FIDELITY - Nick Hornby
Genius! The book everyone who's ever ended a relationship can relate to.
TALES OF THE CITY SERIES - Armisted Maupin
Coccinelle - One of the earliest transexuals who worked at the Carrousel in Paris in the '50s.
She was the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, never mind the most beautiful transexual. She blazed a trail for us all and she led THE most incredible life. She spent her life after the Carrousel campaigning for transgendered rights and she died aged 75 on October 19th 2006.
I'm utterly in awe of her. For those of you who are not familiar with Coccinelle please look at
