About Me

“As we continue to write our musical skills get better.”So states Stereopast’s vocalist Yalina Palomino. And indeed it does. Residing from the Inland Empire, Tony Renteria (drums), Javier Flores (guitar), and John Brunk (Bass) have been together since October of 2004. Meeting through mutual friends their passion for music has led them to release and also self-produce their first album Life Finds a Way.Since before they released their album in August 2006, they have played numerous local shows in their hometown and surrounding areas. Also hitting the Hollywood scene playing at the Roxy, Viper Room, The Joint, Martini Lounge, and The Gig just to name a few.Life Finds a Way is and was a timeline of musical and self growth. You can hear them developing their strengths and finding their own sound through emphatically belted vocals, catchy and intense melodies. And now, with two new songs, they’ve managed to bring a fresh sound. The lyrics are more edgy and direct. As clichéd as it sounds, Stereopast is maturing and delivering more passionate tunes. The new material definitely thrills. “Type A”, will ring in your head long after listening. They have the ability to take a hook and lay into it just long enough to leave you wanting more. They are with out a doubt showcasing their exceptional musicianship. Stereopast has definitely found its way. They have an identifiable vibe and a feel that makes you want to root for them. They undoubtedly make a superb noise and are charmingly clever.
