Traveling...talking to strangers....homeless people....finding my homies....finding someone to fall madly in love with and have it reciprocated ... sURFERS....learning to SURF.... the OCEAN.... FOOD .... FOOD .... fOOd... more FOOD.... really gOOD Food... JERry's Cooking and MAki's tuna sandwichs...freshly caught seafood.... fooD FooD food.... ok, enough. Long walks... short hikes... mountain biking.... snorkeling.... tanning...rainbows... bonfires with old friends and good friends while my imaginary friend Jack Johnson plays the guitar.... sitting at Torrey Pines late at night on the lifeguard tower...thinking... dreaming... and then on a good moonlit night, when the plankton washes in.....drawing and writing in the glowing wet sand. Catching the milky way at Mokalea Point...getting pounded by waves. Giving people something mysterious to think about....playing with my doggies.... Don't get to watch much, no more time to sit at home....but when I can... National Geographic, ESPN, Animal Planet, Discovery, newly found :OLN, E!, CNN, Smallville, Deperate Housewives... But used to never miss Sex in the City and Friends.

My Mommy and Daddy, for if it weren't for their sacrifices and daring efforts to leave their home countries and start new lives in a far away land carrying only hopes, dreams, aspirations and spirits of my ancestors, I would have never been given this chance at life. To live and to experience....to falter through life's struggles but get right back up and keep fighting with all your might....that's my idea of a HERO. These two people are more than meets-the-eyes. Still so gracious and charismatic even after being thrown to the wolves, they have scars and bruises... but those fade and life gets better. Survivors and Heros.I will never be able to show all the appreciation they deserve. LOVE.
