TRACK MASTERS

TRACK MASTERS Entertainment is a successful record production company, run by Poke and Tone (formerley known as the rapper Red Hot Lover Tone. They started off in the early 90's producing beats for hip-hop acts such as Big Daddy Kane, Chubb Rock and R.A. the Rugged man (Crustified Dibbs). The duo since has produced hits for a number of hip-hop and R&B artists, including Nas, Jay-Z, Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, The Notorious B.I.G., 50 Cent, Destiny's Child, Foxy Brown, and LL Cool J. During the late-1990s and early 2000s, Poke and Tone had a production deal with Columbia Records and had acts such as the R&B group Blaque signed to their TRACK MASTERS imprint. More recently, Samuel "Tone" Barnes (referring to himself as "Tone the Referee") was the executive producer of the R. Kelly & Jay-Z album Unfinished Business, the second album in the Best of Both Worlds series.
