WHO IS NAT BURNA?
Born in Norfolk Va.. I started as a B-boy dancer and rapper with roots heavy in Hip-Hop. It wasnt until I heard reggae star Shabba Ranks that the idea spawned my interest in becoming a D.j. With my combination of Hip-Hop and Reggae style I caught the attention of Chris Washington of Teddy Rileys ''Future Records'' in 1992. I set out for the big league in 1996.Under the name ''Maze Tung'' Marvin GayeIII discoverd me.Through out my 7 year stay in L.a California, I had the pleasure of workig with Funk legend George Clinton,Rock legend Fish Bone,Songstress Tweet, and R&B duo K.C& JoJo as well as many other talented artists. To highlight my accomplishments,1999 gave me the oppurtunity to perform at the Norva Theatre as special guest of Warner Bro. Records.By 2003,after issues over creative control became all too common,I returned home to Va. recreating myself as Nat Burna.(inspired by Va. legend Nat Turner).I rejoined my child hood friends JHUNIPPUZ and recorded a series of songs to be released at a later date. I also collaborated with Yorle B. of Lionwerks Ent. on ''Da Burna Mixtape''. I realized my true calling to become Va's first born Dance-Hall Ambassador.
