SEATTLE'S PRE-EMINENT JAM-BAND

About Me

Combining elements of experimental funk, progressive metal, and boogie/blues-tinged classic rock, MadDawgz originally formed in true impromptu fashion during the course of many a nightly open-jam session in the south Snohomish County area, primarily initiated by premier guitarist maestro Evan Wickham (Soul Sychedelics, Inergroove). Evan recruited long-time associate Danny Eddy on drums to help lay the foundation, and the 2 of them began to host their own open-mic jam nights. It wasn't long before Vortex Will stepped in with them on bass and vocals, promptly formulating a tight power-trio. Will's love of vocals however prompted him to step away from the bass, and up to the mic. A host of different bass players had stepped in, but it was Dean "The Machine" Campbell who began to help round-out the back-beat sound that would become MADDAWGZ. Also happening upon the scene was Seattle rock pioneer Gordy Lockard (ex: Thundermen) to complete some necessary workloads on bass. MadDawgz currently hosts weekly Jam Nights at 3 differing venues throughout the region, from Seattle to Everett. Exceptional musicians and enthusiasts of all genres from throughout are discovering and becoming part of the MadDawgz experience. Come join us! Plug-in, play-on, and TEAR IT UP!...w/ special gueset guitarist Gordy Lockard (ex: Thundermen) - "Suzie Q"
