Born and raised in San Francisco, CA. Alecia is a worshipper and knew early on that what you do for Christ will last. Music has always been a part of Alecia's life. Alecia attended church at an early age and participated in the choir as a teenager. Alecia loved to sing with large groups of people because she was able to remain in the background."I didn't realize how the Lord could really use me to be a blessing to someone else at that time and also, what the Lord was preparing me for."
Alecia grew up listening to Pastor Shirley Ceasar, The Clark Sisters, The Winans, Walter Hawkins and Phil Driscoll. "They really ministered to me especially in my dark times."
As Alecia matured in Christ, God began to bless Alecia to write original songs, sing in ensembles, and later, a praise and worship leader. Alecia met and married Deron. They have four children. Alecia now resides in Sacramento, CA.
Alecia is an active member of Center of Praise Ministries International under the leadership of Bishop Parnell M. Lovelace Jr.. Alecia ministers with the ensemble, "Perfected Praise" there.
In between taking care of her family, Alecia continues to write original music, work on her next cd project, and participates in various concerts.
"There is no limit to what God can do." God has truly blessed Alecia to utilize and enhance the gifts that He has given her. In turn, she offers her gifts back to Him as a part of her praise and worship.PLEASE VISIT~
