About Me

DIBERGI: Does that mean it's louder? Is it any louder?
TUFNEL: Well, it's one louder, isn't it? It's not ten. You see, most blokes, you know, will be playing at ten. You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten on your guitar. Where can you go from there? Where?
DIBERGI: I don't know.
TUFNEL: Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?
DIBERGI: Put it up to eleven.
TUFNEL: Eleven. Exactly. One louder.
DIBERGI: Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?
TUFNEL: (Extremely long pause) These go to eleven.

My Interests

Humor is a big part of who I am, I really like to make people laugh. I love live music like a fat kid loves cake (that’s right, I’m not afraid to quote Fifty). I’m lucky enough to have some super-talented friends who are in bands and I go to their shows as much as possible. Random interests- Computers, 3d animation, Texas Holdem, gaming, graphic design, biking, rollerblading, boating, reading, most -ing words, hockey, Notre Dame football.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet owner/operators of giant mechanical robots. Bonus points if you actually menace a populous of a city with it.

Music:

Alkaline Trio, Ataris, Pixies, Pavement, Morrisey/Smiths, Social Distortion, Garbage, Colossal, Report, Dialogue, NOFX, Jets To Brazil, The Wedding Present/Cinerama, Smoking Popes/Duvall, Blur, Ride, Bid Bad Voodoo Daddy, Descendents, Tenacious D, Boo Radleys, Buffalo Tom, Stone Roses, She Wants Revenge, Nightmare of You

Movies:

I like movies that have great endings, and are brave enough to not always have the happy ending. Seven, Fight Club, The Thing, The Usual Suspects, A Clockwork Orange, American History X, Arlington Road. Big scifi/fantasy buff - Star Wars, Alien(s), Predator, Gattaca, LOTR. Comedies – Ski School, Zucker anything, Old School, Animal House, Austin Powers, Hot Shots, Real Genius, Top Secret!, Office Space, Spinal Tap. Heat, Snatch, Rounders, Reservoir Dogs, almost any war movie.

Television:

I got rid of cable and only watch dvds now. It's actually nice though because I can watch as much of a series as I want. I've evolved! The Wire, Band of Brothers, Deadwood, Six Feet Under, Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, Battlestar Gallactica, Alias, most forensics shows.

Books:

I used to read a lot of SciFi & Fantasy. Fav Authors - Orson Scott Card, Tolkien. Fav Books - Ender’s Game, Treason, Armor, and LOTR. Now I read mostly websites like Gizmodo, Yahoo’s Oddly Enough section, BoingBoing and message boards. Also lots of books on programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, & 3d programs. And to top that all off, I’m slowly plodding through the “100 greatest books ever written” slow being the key word.

Heroes:

Philly Steak - Sorry, I can't resist a pun.
