MARK-DAWG

Up top Im known as Life, In the caribean Im known as Bigga, over seas in Africa Im known as Obolo, but in my hood in E-town North Ckarolina, Im known as Mark-Dawg....... I been into music every since I knew myself. I grew up listening to my fathers records and also my older brothers. When I seen them recording and doing music I got into it and wanted to do the same. So by the time I knew how to read and write, I was writing my own music and recording on my little tape player in elementry. When my older brothers found out I was good at it, they quickly took me to the recording studio and I recorded my first song in New York in the second grade. After I did one song I became addicted to the music and I started to write alot. In the 4th grade I moved to Ghana(West Africa) and stayed there for 2 years. While I was in Africa I was surprised on how mush people really listen to Hip-Hop and Reggae. It was radio contest that they had where you call in and you rap. Who ever won, got a special prize and contiue on untill they were defeated. I called in and won 7 times in a row and my name quickly spreaded around the area, and I got alot of calls. I was getting paid in africa to get on other local artists tracks. I became better at what I did and grew a special love for it. I came back to the U.S after hearing my brother was killed and I made a promise to myself that I will make it to the top to make him proud, and now Im on that journey!!!!!
