Its no coincidence that he lives up to his name. Step into the abyss of the Dominican born mixtape dj,club dj, mixer and on air personality for WMBX X1023. He wears a lot of hats but his passion for the music industry allows him to rock them well.
Not only can Abyss mix a medley of Hip Hop and R&B but this Domicano keeps true to his Caribbean roots and spins Reggae and Reggaeton sets that keep crowds glued to dance floors. Abyss started his career 10 years ago at and successfully evolved into a man of many trades. He started djing in clubs, and hosting events. DJing at major venues, and started producing mixtapes. A monster was unleashed once the mixtapes started because theyve been killin the streets ever since.
He has already produced over 50 mixtapes in his career, with many more to come. What makes him unique is that he has the hottest music from Hip Hop, R&B, and Reggae. In addition to all the current hits on the mixtape, Abyss always manages to sneak in some old school. He started his career in an era when hip hop was golden, and by including some of this music on the mixtapes were reminded of where we came from. The series not only bring the hottest music but it has also been hosted by hip hop heavyweights such as Jim Jones, Outkasts' Big Boi, Pitbull, Chamillionare, Three-6 Mafia, 8 Ball & MJG, Rick Ross, Game, Daz Dillinger, Styles P & Rich Boy just to name a few.
As if all this wasnt enough, Abyss currently works as a mixer and on air personality for WMBX X1023 in West Palm Beach. Initially, this jack of many trades started in college radio and now works for the 1 radio station in the Palm Beach market. Radio is a good place for exposure, and development.
Nevertheless, development is essential in order achieve his goal of becoming a dominant force within the Southeast radio and mixtape scene. With his strong work ethic it is only a matter of time until the nation will be get to know him and the masses will be stepping into the Abyss.
