“music is only as sad as the listenerâ€â€¦ i love that music can say what cannot be expressed in words… but also that what a song can offer to somebody can be something completely different to what someone else gets out of it… or even to their mood at the time… i'm like one of those annoying people who find an album or song they love, listen to it a million times over, and then put it aside for a rainy day… oh oh, but my best discovery lately is my yahoo radio station... life is better with it in it... My music-for-every-occasion taste ranges from good-mood indie, rock or punk to more emo, acoustic or alternate... I’m love love loving john mayer’s ‘continuum’ at the moment... and some recent favourites have been john… the thrills… harris tweed… jack Johnson… the darkness… the garden state soundtrack… the cardigans… regina spektor… the grey’s anatomy soundtrack… dashboard confessional... the killers… Funeral for a Friend… Fall Out Boy… The Used… j... Weezer… Jimmy Eat World… Snow Patrol… Foo Fighters… goo goo dolls… evolver... blah blah blah...
Movies:
aaah, go watch ‘the persuit of happiness’ if you get a chance… what a cool film… off the top of my head though, I loooooved lucky number slevin… fight club… meet joe black… zoolander… chicago... a lot like love… lemony snickets… but loads more… favourite favourite of mine must be garden state… it’s one of those ‘everyone should watch in their lifetime’ films… you gotto love zach braff... To sum up, what makes me tick are clever comedies, psychological thrillers and quirky dramas!
Television:
“so little time, so much watching to do…†oh oh! how friggin cool is grey’s anatomy… big ups to prison break and project runway though (woot woot for the new seasons!!)… malcolm in the middle is one of my underrated favourites too… and you gotto love that 70’s show… but this section is dedicated in loving memory to my series winner ‘friends’… after recently finishing all 10 series (most of them for the 2nd time and including ‘extra’ features)… you will be sorely missed during my daily routine…
Books:
Guilty as charged… reading would be one of the first things I’d throw back into my schedule if I had a 25 hour day… and if I didn’t have the tendency to fall asleep as soon as I’m remotely relaxed… haha… but things I get to read most lately are my 'Easy learning Italian dictionary'… recommended looks at life that may answer a few of my millions of questions… or quick laughs of the day… i recently loved a book called 'Q and A' by vikus swarup... also john grisham novels… james frey’s ‘million little pieces’… 'the melancholy death of oyster boy' by tim burton... and the harry potter series… oh... and 'he's just not that into you'... hehehe...
Heroes:
i’m not the type to idolise… but have met some incredible people in my lifetime and do admire or appreciate qualities or people that I just think have really got something to offer… I guess when it comes down to example though, the only one who ever got it right was Jesus…
