Tommy Sustain

My name is Tommy and I live in Ålesund, Norway.. When I was a little pretty baby, my dream was to be a truckdriver and become a drummer in a famous glamrock band. But things changed through my childhood, and at the age of 9, I begun boxing. The coaches described me as a wonderkid, and told me that my future was brighter than Marilyn Manson's face! After just a few months of upper-cuts and right-jabs, I found out that I rather would be a proffessional footballer.. For about 7 years I worked hard to reach that goal, but suddenly, in middle-school, the art of music hit me like only Mohamed Ali could hit his opponents! I started to play the bass and the piano, and soon I was in the "well-known" pop-rock band, Milk.. My footballcareer was threatned by sex, drugs and rock and roll, and it came as no surprise that I quited the football team at the age of 17.. Two years later I studied music and sound engineering at Romerike Folkehøgskole, Jessheim. When I returned to Ålesund I soon got back playing alongside my fellow and vocalist from Milk. The new band was called Former US Senators, and you can check it out here on myspace! Exept playing the bass in Former US Senators, today I study a little bit and has begun playing football again. Honestly, I don't know what I want to do with my life yet, but I have experienced that things can change really fast over the night.. And who knows? I might be a truckdriver in a few years..
