A little story that may explain me: Two friends were walking through the desert; at some point in their journey they got into an argument and one friend slapped the other one in the face. the one slapped said nothing, but bent down in the sand and wrote: "Today my best friend struck me in the face."they continued on their journey until they came to an oasis and decided to take a bath. the one who had been slapped got stuck in quicksand and was quickly drowning but his friend reached out and saved him. without a word, the one who had been slapped and had almost drowned in the sand found a rock and carved into it: "today my best friend saved my life."the one who had slapped him only to save him asked his friend when he was done, "today, when i hurt you, you wrote in sand, but now you write on stone, why?"his friend replied, "when someone hurts us we should write it in sand, so that the winds of forgiveness can erase it someday, but when someone does something good for us we must write it in stone, so that no amount of wind or rain can destroy it."Learn to write your hurts in sand, and to carve your benefits in stone. they say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them and a single day to love them, but that it will take a lifetime to forget them. cherish the ones you will never forget. do not be in such a hurry to attain the things you think you need that you never find the time to show love to your friends. let not petty arguments, born of fear, define your relationships or dilute the beauty of relationships past; do not live in fear, lest you bring to life that which you most fear.
