Led zeppelin was started in 1968 by Jimmy Page,Robert Plant,John Bonham,and John paul Jones.After jolting to the top in the seventies and mid eighties with such hits as "Whole lotta love",Stairway to heaven","Immigrant song",and "Kashmir"(to name only a few). The bands drummer John Bonham died due to alchol poisoning in the mid eighties. Soon after Robert Plant left the band after they all claimed "We will not go on witout John, we can't replace someone so vitile to Led Zeppelin." So all that time Led Zeppelin was finished. The band never died with Plant and Page always putting on a duo tour playing classic Zeppelin songs and many greatest hits or remastered cd's being released. Even now in the year 2006 more than twenty years after the band started. Kids still manage to discover their songs and timeless guitar rifts.
