While her penchant for fashion may have started back in the days of playing dress up in her mom’s Manolo Blahniks, it certainly blossomed through her teens. A Los Angeles native, Lisy always seemed to have her finger on the pulse of fashion, and gravitated towards creating looks that embraced a feminine, yet funky vibe. When she moved to San Diego for college, her fashionable flair followed her and within no time, Lisy was helping to style her pals for exciting nights out on the town with finds from local boutiques. After college, Lisy made the leap to successful businesswoman as she embarked on a six-year career in investment banking in that ol’ city by the bay, San Francisco. But, the fashion itch stayed with her, and soon enough, she realized that she was spending more time shopping online and picking out her work outfits than balancing financial worksheets. And with that realization, she waved a fare adieu to her corporate life and headed south to embark on the dream of a lifetime: opening her own fashion lifestyle boutique in the up-n-coming mecca of Orange County. Lisy opened the doors to her boutique appropriately named “Lisy B” – in April of 2003 to much local acclaim, and soon thereafter launched her equally successful online boutique, www.lisyb.com. Lisy brought on best pal Kelli Jeanne, an OC native who toured the world for 15 years in a leading ballet company and danced in Siegfried and Roy’s famed Vegas show, to manage her store. The rest, as they say, is history, and the two have been having the time of their lives ever since. Both Lisy B and www.lisyb.com cater to today’s trend-savvy fashionistas who command the most in style, but shy away from the attitude that other stores so often exude.
